Take time to get caught up with all of the amazing things going on around Crow Mountain Baptist Church.
Senior Pastor - Howard J. Kisor, Jr.
The 4th of July is here, the year is half over, and Christmas is tomorrow! This has been an unforgettable year so far! The pandemic has dominated the news and our lives; election is just around the corner. I have just stopped watching the morning news.
I have decided what we put into our minds the first thing in the morning will shape your daily attitude. So, we have decided to make sure we start off the right way with our morning devotions and quiet reflection on God’s word. It has helped to refocus our day’s task and attitude.
In Romans 12:2 it says, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” There used to be an old saying, “garbage in, garbage out” when I was going to school. That is still a true statement. What we put in our minds and heart will manifest itself in our actions and lives.
Today most of the media is full of lies, deceit, and corruption, yet we still put our faith in these institutions because at one time they were dependable for good reporting. Now they have an agenda of their own and they want to persuade us to follow them down a path of destruction for our nation.
The only truth that is unchangeable and stable is found in the word of God. Satan does not want us to read the truth so that our minds might be changed and we will not be able to see what he is doing to the church and the world. That is why it is so important that we read the Bible every day and spend time with the Lord during these trying times.
In times like these, we need a closer relationship with the Lord! How is your relationship with Him today?

Cody Bird - Youth Director - Teen Fusion
The youth Bible study on Wednesday night is resuming on a summertime schedule. We will be meeting as usual with social distancing measures in place.
Please be ready to plan times to gather together safely. This year has been very different and we are fortunate to be able to meet again. Keep praying for us as we navigate uncertain times while walking steadily toward our Saviors’ will for our youth group and church.
Remember that difficult times make us stronger and we can still be shining lights of hope for those that need it most. I pray you are all safe and can’t wait to see you back in church!
